3-WAY 5-SPEAKER HIGH FIDELITY SPEAKER SYSTEM The SP-1500 is a totally new and different kind of speaker system. Designed especially for today's high-powered amplifiers and receivers, it incorporates features never before found in systems of similar size and price. Among them: a powerful 60 watt handling capacity and high (100dB) efficiency from a compact design. New mid-range purity and faithfulness through the use of a 6.5 inch and 5 inch speaker in a acoustically staggered arrangement. A high compliance 12 inch woofer for powerful bass reproduction down to 33Hz with good linearity. Ideal crossovers at 600 and 6,000Hz. Twin 1 inch domed tweeters for clear, transparent highs above the limit of human hearing. All these features-and more-combine to reproduce the full spectrum of sound from 33 to 20,000Hz. The speaker enclosure is finished in luxurious walnut and is highlighted by Sansui's own Kumiko style grille, hand-carved from selected wood to add to the décor of any listening room.
