RV HIFI has put together this 1970’s Yamaha system, we matched up the components for visual appearance and sonic performance. All components are of very good quality, the system has had a full service and several components upgraded, this system is at it’s peak performance. We are also including quality speaker cable and a FM antenna.

Yamaha YP-B2 Belt-Drive Turntable with Auto Return

Description

Features include an auto-return, auto-cut record playing mechanism. This is an auto-return system in which the turntable stops when a record has finished playing. An auto-cut mechanism on the YP-B2 enables you to switch off the record playing at any point. A high-fidelity, S-shaped static balance pipe arm. A handy hydraulic cueing device assures smooth lifting and lowering of the tonearm, protecting the record and the stylus from damage.

Description of work

The following tasks and parts have either been repaired or replaced:
Tested and checked all components
Washed and cleaned cabinets

YP-B2 Turntable has been serviced, new belt, re-packed grease and oil, buff polished the platter, polished the acrylic lid and new Ortofon OM5e cartridge

CR-200E Receiver has had it’s power supply’s capacitors replaced, new display globes and new speaker binding posts.

NS-430 Speakers, tested, crossovers have perfect spec’s, speakers have had little use.

Tested in excess of 2 hours
